ATM 12: Water security & reuse in water-stressed environments

Water security is an urgent global challenge, with growing populations, climate impacts and competing industrial demands putting pressure on limited freshwater resources. At the same time, misconceptions about the future of our resources and inconsistent regulatory frameworks can hinder progress toward sustainable solutions.

In this 60-minute Accredited Technical Masterclass, our industry specialists will explore how advancements in treatment technologies, regulatory acceptance and integrated planning are expanding opportunities for water reuse. Participants will gain insights into how different regions and sectors - from municipal utilities to a wide array of industries - are addressing water reuse challenges to strengthen water security worldwide.

This masterclass is designed for professionals in the water sector, including municipal providers, regulators, industry representatives, and academic partners. This session provides a strategic overview of global water reuse efforts and the opportunities for advancing sustainable water security.
